Day 1

John 3:16-17 GOD IS LOVE

For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.   God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

Day 2

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Psalm 90:2

Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, You are God.

Day 3

Nehemiah 9:6

You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship You.

Day 4

For everything comes from Him and exists by his power and is intended for His glory. All glory to Him forever! Amen.

Job 42:2

I know that You can do anything, and no one can stop You. (Job to God)

Day 5

Acts 17:24-25

He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since He is Lord of heaven and earth, He doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve His needs—for He has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and He satisfies every need.

Day 6

Isaiah 40:28-31

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary.  No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.  But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.  They will soar high on wings like eagle. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Day 7

So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.

Job 34:21

For God watches how people live; He sees everything they do.

Day 8

Psalm 139:7-10

I can never escape from Your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, You are there; if I go down to the grave, You are there.  If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there Your hand will guide me, and Your strength will support me.

Day 9

O Lord, You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You go before me and follow me. You place Your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!

Day 10

The Lord is righteous in everything He does; He is filled with kindness.

Psalm 145:7

Everyone will share the story of Your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about Your righteousness.

Day 11

Isaiah 41:10

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with the right hand of my righteousness.

Day 12

Revelation 4:8b GOD IS HOLY

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the One who always was, who is, and who is still to come.

1 Samuel 2:2

No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides You; there is no Rock like our God.

Day 13

Psalm 103:1-4

Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.  He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.

Day 14

II Thessalonians 3:3 GOD IS FAITHFUL

But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

I Thessalonians 5:24

God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.

Day 15

I John 1:9

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Day 16

Lamentations 3:22-26

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!  His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on Him, to those who search for Him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.

Day 17

O Sovereign Lord, You have only begun to show Your greatness and the strength of Your hand to me, Your servant. Is there any god in heaven or on earth who can perform such great and mighty deeds as You do?

Psalms 27:1, 3b

The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.

Deuteronomy 33:27

The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you.

Day 19

Psalm 91:1-3

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord; He alone is my refuge, my place of safety: He is my God, and I trust him.  For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

Day 20

Psalm 91:4-6

He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.  Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

Day 21

For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything He does.

Psalm 32:8

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch over you.”

Day 22

Isaiah 40:31

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Day 23

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Day 24

John 14:1-4

Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.  There is more than enough room in my Father’s home.  If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?  When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.

Day 25

Then they will learn that you alone are called the Lord, that you alone are the Most High, supreme over all the earth.

Day 26

Romans 11:36

For everything comes from Him and exists by His power and is intended for His glory. All glory to Him forever! Amen.

Day 27

Ephesians 1:11

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to his plan.

Day 28

Revelation 4:8b GOD IS HOLY

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the One who always was, who is, and who is still to come.

Day 29

I Samuel 2:2

No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides You; there is no Rock like our God.

Day 30

Psalm 102:12 GOD IS ETERNAL

But You, O Lord, will sit on Your throne forever. Your fame will endure to every generation.

Psalm 89:2

Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.

Day 31

Revelation 22:13

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Day 32

Romans 11:33 GOD IS WISE

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways!

Day 33

Daniel 2:20, 22

Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He has all wisdom and power. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars.

Day 34

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 GOD THE COMFORTER

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.  He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Day 35

Philippians 4:6-7 GOD IS PEACE

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Day 36

O Lord, I give my life to you. Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in You. Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past.

Day 37

Matthew 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Day 38

Ephesians 2:4-5 GOD IS MERCIFUL

But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

Day 39

Ephesians 2:8-10

God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Day 40

Hebrews 4:15-16

This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testing we do, yet He did not sin.  So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Day 41

Lamentations 3:22

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin a fresh each morning.

Day 42

“I am the Lord, and I do not change.”

Hebrews 13:8-9

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas.

Day 43

All He does is just and good, and all His commandments are trustworthy.

Day 44

Romans 8:38-39 GOD IS LOVE

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Day 45

1 John 3:1

See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!

Day 46

1 John 4:7-8

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.  But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Day 47

1 John 4:9-10

God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Day 48

1 John 4:11-12

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.  No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us.

Day 49

John 13:34-35

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples.

Day 50

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Day 51

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Day 52

And this is the way to have eternal life—to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the One You sent to earth.

Day 53

John 1:12

But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.

Day 54

Ephesians 1:4-5

Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.  God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Day 55

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

Day 56

Psalm 119:105

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
